MLI is Open for Your Reading Pleasure

Hey guys! 

Hope you’re all doing well and enjoying the beginning of the summer.  I certainly am!  (With the exception of Father’s Day, which was kind of lonely since my dad lives in Florida and, well, he’s the only dad I’ve got.)  Mostly in response to begging and pleading (and maybe even a bribe or two), I’ve decided to open MLI back up for browsing.  However, I’m still on a break from blogging as I work some other things out,  so you won’t be getting any new posts soon or often. 

Here’s a quick update on what I’ve been up to for the past month:

1.  I’m working with a friend (he’s a genius, which balances us out) on a start-up Internet company.  We are still in the very early stages, as we have not even completed a business plan to seek funding.  In other words, don’t expect an update any time soon.

2.  The (online) magazine — yes, you know the one — is in development.  I have a partner and some contributors lined up, as well as some other potential strategic alliances.  I’m looking forward to a launch later this year.  Once we have a date, I’ll be promoting hardcore, so please don’t fret — there’s no chance you’ll miss it!

3.  I went on an AWESOME Florida vacation (not visiting my dad) with three girlfriends.  It was much needed sun, fun and sand.  We had a blast and if it weren’t for my Brady, I might not have returned.

4.  Braden got a big boy bike and started his first session of Tee Ball.  We are total dorks (surprise?), as he had a crowd of five fans for his first practice.

5.  Although I closed down MLI to concentrate on other things, I (apparently) crave distraction or I’m addicted to social networking — or both – because I have wasted  spent A LOT of time on Twitter.  I’ve met a lot of really cool people and clicked a lot of great links!

Mostly, I miss interacting with all of you on a regular basis.  Have a great summer!
