Super Cool Braden

For the past few days, Braden has been obsessed with looking “cool.”  For some reason, today, “cool” means winter boots and gloves in the spring, the Puma sweatshirt that’s been washed four times in four days because he keeps wanting to wear it, his new sun glasses and his Cubs hat — backwards, “because that’s the only cool way.”  Yesterday (wish I had a picture), it was no shirt, basketball shorts, black slippers, a black arm band and again – the gloves.  He was being a boxer.

The previously announced mismatched hat and gloves (see brady bits).   So fashion’s not his thing.  It could be worse.

And no, that is not a buger on his nose.  It is a big scab from his latest spill.  It seems these scratches and bruises always happen right before picture day.  I’m dying to see how his school pics came out with that thing on his nose and his bruise on his forehead (covered by hat).  I’ll post once we get them.  I should add that this is the day before picture day.  He did not wear a Spiderman sweatshirt for pictures – I have to draw the line somewhere!
